A month ago, after her dog Smiff passed away, Libby Davey thought it would be a good idea to make a portrait of her dear departed dog to always keep him close to their hearts. Little did she know, that portrait would cause a heartbreaking reaction from her other dog, Smiff’s brother Frank.

When the portrait was finished, and Davey hung it on the living room wall, Frank had the most touching reaction ever.

“I think Frank knows that’s a painting of his brother,” Davey wrote.

Frank clearly knew it was his brother. The look on his face was priceless. It seemed as if Frank couldn’t believe what Davey had done for him.

The tear-jerking moment was, luckily, caught on camera.

Although nothing can ever bring Smiff back, this way, he gets to watch over his little family like a guardian angel.

An honorable spot on the wall was the last good act the family could do for this good boy.
