It’s not everyday that a huge snowstorm brings loads of snow to your backyard, but a Husky named Malakai knows this very well. This snow dog turns into an ecstatic doggo bursting with joy when he sees snowflakes falling from the sky.
A while ago, Malakai’s backyard turned into a winter wonderland overnight, and the doggo was beyond happy! So happy he refused to come back inside.
When his mom, Melissa Renick, called for Malakai to come inside because it was freezing, he gave her a surprised look. What do you mean, it’s freezing? The weather is fine.
It appears Melissa had forgotten for a second that she owns a snow dog, packed with a double coat. Snow is his natural habitat. Snow is love.
The four-year-old Husky was determined to have things his way. But, the only problem was: how to let his mom know it?
So, of course, what he did blew us off our feet.
When Melissa repeatedly called Malakai to come inside, he casually said “No” and shook his head. What a joker!
The argument continued. Melissa was certain she’d get him inside, but Malakai only turned away his head and answered “No” one more time. This dog really knows what he wants!

Malakai’s little snow tantrum wasn’t a surprise for Melissa, as he always gets what he wants.
“He’s a grown-ass dog — he does what he wants to do,” Renick said on TikTok. “He’s a good boy, though.”
Eventually, Malakai was back inside. A miracle happened! But, what he does to make time fly by until his next time in the backyard is gaze melancholically through the window.
